June is National Indigenous Peoples Month. All month long HPE students in all divisions will have numerous opportunities to celebrate.
As well as having access to a variety of print and digital resources available in schools, educators will have the option to participate in several online sessions, including a painting session titled "Revolution of the Heart" with Isaac Murdoch, and a two-part series "Celebrating Indigenous Sport Heroes" with Cindy Martin and Kerri Einarson.
We look forward to celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day, June 21, 2024, a day to recognize and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis across Canada.
