The Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair, held at Centennial Secondary School on April 6th, celebrated another year of inspiring innovation and creativity among students in grades 4-12. With over 70 projects on display, the fair provided a platform for young minds to explore and present their inventive ideas and research in the fields of science and technology.

Organized by the Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair (QRSTF) in collaboration with the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board, the event aimed to encourage students to delve into the realms of science and technology while providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talents, ideas, and achievements.

Excitement filled the air as more than 100 students passionately described their projects to nearly 93 judges. Projects were evaluated based on criteria including creativity, scientific thought, and communication skills, covering a wide array of topics from environmental conservation to artificial intelligence.
