Our Program
Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (HPEDSB) International Student Program (ISP) welcomes students from around the world! International students can choose an educational path that best suits their academic goals and personal interests.
Our core purpose is to provide a positive educational and cultural experience for international students, as well as an opportunity for our Canadian students, teachers, our host families and the local community to learn about and develop an appreciation and understanding of other cultures.
Attending school in Belleville Ontario is a rewarding experience. Belleville is a beautiful, clean, and safe city. International students will have a truly Canadian cultural experience while living with one of our host families, allowing them to learn about other diverse cultures, broaden their global perspective and meeting new friends all while getting a first-rate education.
Our teachers and guidance counsellors understand the needs of our international students and support them in adjusting to life in a new country. Our staff are always willing to offer friendly guidance on academic and personal issues, whenever needed.
To further enhance the international student's cultural experience the International Student Program offers a full range of excursions to such places as: Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal, in addition to planned monthly local activities.
