Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is pleased to announce Leslie Miller as the new Superintendent of Business Services. Miller, presently a Director at Toyota Canada Inc., succeeds retiring Superintendent of Business, Dave Rutherford. She will join the school board on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
"It was a decision supported by all Board members. Leslie brings experience in finance, human resources and administration. She has a personal style which we believe will be an excellent fit as the business superintendent for this organization," remarked Dwayne Inch, Chair of the Board.
Miller is a financial executive with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with Honours at Brock University and is a Certified Management Accountant.
During her career as Director of Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Administration and Legal Services for Toyota Canada Inc., Miller has provided leadership and direction for financial services, strategic planning, service delivery, governance and leadership of four divisions. She has been recognized for her ability to build positive relationships, team capabilities and financial problem solving in support of organizational goals.
Miller is a proud graduate of Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board and is pleased to be returning to the area.
