The new Trent River Public School will open to students on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
As finish work continues at the site, we are now focusing all our efforts on planning a welcoming, safe and smooth transition for all students and staff.
Families of students from Breadner Elementary and College Street Public received a letter on January 24, 2017 (pdf) describing the planning for the first day of school and busing arrangements.
In order to prepare the school for students, there will be no classroom instruction on Monday, February 6, 2017. The school will be closed to students that day. Families will need to make childcare arrangements for Monday, February 6, 2017. We appreciate their understanding.
The new Trent River Public School is a vibrant facility with a modern learning environment. It has spacious classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, a learning commons and a large gymnasium.
An Opening Ceremony will take place in the coming months.
