Student learning related to this performance

This show will be the culmination of the learning in the Theatre Production/Set Design courses for Semester 2. In this two-credit course, students explore the time period surrounding the play in detail, including the fashions, the social climate at the time of Henry VIII, the living conditions in Merry Ole' England, songs and dances of the period, the history of doppelgangers. They look closely at the works of Mark Twain.

CSS students performed Leader of the Pack in January 2014 as the Semester 1 culminating activity for the same courses.

Every week, the students rehearse during class and once a week after school. They are responsible for set designs, costume designs, dance rehearsals and learning lines. These 27 students, along with 12 additional students from CSS and Sir John A. Macdonald Public School, have been rehearsing together once a week since February.

Centennial Theatre Productions is gearing up for another performance in May. Stay tuned!
