The show will take you to the refined, but sometimes raw setting of 1950-era Chicago society, where Jill, a young woman, leads a seemingly perfect life to the public eye. Her facade is soon at risk though, as she struggles to live as an outsider in what she is supposed to believe is a perfect world.

Jill and her cast mates of "Happy Hour," an uppity 1950-era variety show, must learn to deal with their chaotic lives on and off the set. But remember, in a world where nothing is truly as it seems, what you expect to happen may not be the true result. Jill's story provides a fresh look at class and gender issues pervading 1950-era life that still face us today. Watch as Jill leaves her perfect life as a rich woman tied to an All American Boy to find her worth in a society that tells her she is worthless. Enjoy the wonderful singing and dancing of the extremely multi-talented cast as their characters take you through a story full of twists and turns that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Expect to be surprised, but prepare to be entertained with this sixth original Trenton High School musical.

THS is very proud of its biennial Music Theatre Program which has been running for 10 years, resulting in five originally-written musical shows. The production crew are made of many talented people: Director Ms. Jennifer Ully, Music Director Mr. Vince Thornton, as well as Stage Manager Tiffany Moore, and Choreographer Ms. Julianne Marshall.

With the assistance of the two directors, the program is student-run in terms of scriptwriting, ticket sales, advertising, props, costumes, along with a slew of other duties. The students, many of them in their last year, have been dedicating months of hard work to making this musical a reality.

This year's show features the music of the one and only King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, who is well known for big hits such as "Burning Love," "Heartbreak Hotel" and "A Little Less Conversation."
