Join in recognizing two mental health awareness events

Promoting Well-Being for Students & Employees is a priority in our AiM System Plan. Through this priority and by creating healthy, resilient and inclusive communities, we will continue to support the development of positive mental and physical health to inspire students and employees to reach their full potential.

Two events related to mental health awareness occur this week:

  1. In Canada and many other countries, October 6 - 10 is recognized as Mental Illness Awareness Week. Several events are planned through the Canadian Mental Health Association and other national organizations.   2. World Mental Health Day is recognized each year October 10. It is initiative of the World Federation of Mental Health and is supported by the World Health Organization.
