Budding scientists prepare for the 56th Quinte Regional Science & Technology Fair

For more than 50 years, the Quinte Regional Science & Technology Fair (QRSTF) has provided students in the Quinte region with a platform to showcase their scientific research.

This year is no different. The 56th Quinte Regional Science and Technology Fair is taking place in April.

EVENT DETAILS

DATE: Saturday, April 11, 2015
TIME: All day for students and judges only. The public awards ceremony will begin at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the Automotive Centre
LOCATION: Loyalist College, 376 Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, Belleville

Participants will present their exhibits to parents, fellow students, judges and the public.

This event brings a lot of interest from local students who are eager to share their scientific discoveries and research. Many school-based science fairs, clubs and classes have developed projects for this year's event.

Five new French-language awards have been added this year, as well as a $1,000 entrance scholarship to Loyalist College.

Following this event, the 54th Canada-wide Science Fair is scheduled for May in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Five local participants will be able to compete at this national level.
