How do dominant and recessive genes effect hair texture? What is a pendulum transportation system? What is involved in finding a natural fertilizer?
Sara Evans, Prince Edward Collegiate Institute; Aiden Haddad, Harry J. Clarke Public School (Destinations Programme); and Meera Moorthy, Harry J. Clarke Public School (Destinations Programme) know they answers! They are the creators of three award-winning projects at the Quinte Regional Science & Technology Fair.

The Loyalist College Tuition Scholarship was awarded to Sara Evans, Prince Edward Collegiate Institute, for her project Dominant and Recessive Inheritance of Hair Texture.
QRSTF participants were invited to tour the host site, Loyalist College, to get a first-hand view of the facility and the many programs offered.
STUDENTS GOING TO THE CANADA WIDE SCIENCE FAIR
Congratulations to three HPEDSB students selected to compete in the Canada-Wide Science Fair scheduled for May 2015 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. This is a remarkable achievement and represents a value of approximately $1,700.
