Earlier this year, the Climate Action Incentive Fund, a joint initiative of the federal and Ontario government, awarded Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board funding to replace portions of the roof at Eastside Secondary School. The project, which was completed in late 2020, was to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by increasing insulation and reducing air leakage in the roofing systems.
