Achieving Excellence & Equity is a priority in the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan for Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. Our focus is on providing programs and services to help each student achieve success.
Ontario school boards received a series of memos from the Ministry of Education on Friday, December 14, 2018 outlining funding reductions or cuts to some Education Programs -Other, often referred to as EPO grants.
HPEDSB is awaiting further details from the Ministry of Education in order to determine the impact on programming for students. It is important to note that some of these programs were already on hold as HPEDSB awaited confirmation of funding.
Trustees will receive a full report at the public Operations and Finance Committee meeting on January 14, 2019.
