Letter to families about a proposal to create a Grade 7-12 school at Trenton High School for September 2018
Senior administration presented a proposal to the Board of Trustees on January 8, 2018 to relocate the 209 Grade 7 and 8 students from North Trenton Public School, Prince Charles Public School Trenton, Trent River Public School and V.P. Carswell Elementary School to Trenton High School for September 2018. Families of students who attend the Trenton schools received a letter of explanation (Pdf).
School boards are responsible for responding to program needs and changing demographics to ensure student achievement and well-being as well as financial sustainability/viability.
