Yesterday a threat was made against Centennial Secondary School in person and spread by others on social media. Police investigated and have confirmed there is no credible threat to the school community.
Centennial Secondary School will be open, as usual, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
Background
Police were called to the school on Monday, November 26, 2018 to investigate comments made by a student and confirmed there was no credible threat. Additional comments were posted on social media and police followed up with the source. They again confirmed there was no credible threat to the school community.
Centennial Secondary School will be open, as usual, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. The police school response officer will be on site, as well.
