Day of Pink will be celebrated around the world on Wednesday, April 12. It is a time to recognize diversity, understanding differences and respecting one another.
Locally, the mission in the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan is to create dynamic, inclusive education experiences that develop capable, confident, curious learners who thrive and contribute to their communities. Through this mission, we demonstrate our commitment to creating welcoming, inclusive, save and accepting learning environments that optimize students’ potential.
I know that schools are prepared to participate and students are excited to wear pink. I encourage everyone to do the same. Together we will be a sea of pink throughout all regions of Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board by recognizing and participating in Day of Pink.
