Each day, educational assistants interact with students who have a wide range of abilities. Educational assistants demonstrate skill, caring, compassion and patience to ensure equity and to help prepare and empower all students for the possibilities of today and tomorrow. They play a significant role in supporting student achievement and well-being. Educational assistants are dedicated professionals who work in diverse roles and settings.
On the third Wednesday of October, Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is proud to recognize Educational Assistant Day. This year it falls on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
