Deseronto PS ‘Burp it On’ physical activity challenge goes international!

Are you up for a physical education challenge?

Jason Lloyd's Grade 5/6 class at Deseronto Public School care about the health and well-being of themselves and other children, and are doing something about it.

They have designed and are promoting the "BURP IT ON' physical activity challenge. They are hoping it will help promote an increase in healthy active living in today's youth.

What's it all about?

The "BURP IT ON" challenge requires participants to complete a minimum of 50 burpees (BURP is for BURPees), 3 minutes of wall sits, 100 jumping jacks, and 15 minutes of running, jogging, and/or jumping. Participants must complete the tasks within one week. The activities can be split up (i.e. divide wall sits into sets of 30 seconds). Once the challenge is completed, participants must "BURP IT ON" to another class, school or organization.
