Prince Charles School (Belleville) hosted the Intermediate Girls Basketball Tournament for the Centennial School Group on Tuesday, March 4, 2014.
The six participating teams included the following:
- Albert College
- Bayside Public School
- Frankford Public School
- Prince Charles School
- Susanna Moodie Elementary School
- Sir John A. Macdonald Public School
In the playoff rounds the teams secured following scores:
Quarter finals
- Bayside and Albert College placed first in pool action so received a bye to the semifinal round.
- Prince Charles won over Sir John A Macdonald, 16-14.
- Frankford won over Susanna Moodie, 16-12.
Semi finals
- Bayside won over Prince Charles, 20- 4.
- Albert College won over Frankford, 18-4.
In the finals Bayside won the tournament over Albert College, 28-10.
The Bayside team will represent the Centennial School Group at the District Tournament on Tuesday, March 25. Eight schools will play in that tournament.
