Every day in Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board administrative professionals support our AiM System Plan goals of Success for Each Student, Employee Excellence and Community Connections. These dedicated individuals care for students, assist staff and parents, keep offices functioning and interact directly with the public. Their efforts to create safe, caring, respectful, and inclusive schools and offices make them leaders and ambassadors for our organization.
This week is designated as Administrative Professionals Week. It has been celebrated since 1952, beginning as Secretaries Week in the early 1950s. This year, Wednesday, April 23 is recognized as Administrative Professionals Day, a time to recognize and celebrate the work of secretaries, administrative assistants and other office professionals for their invaluable contributions to the workplace.
Please take a few moments to thank the administrative professionals in our district for all they do every day to support students.
