Outstanding paintings by JK students at Queen Victoria School

Young artists are budding at Queen Victoria School. Students in Full-day Kindergarten created stunning paintings of sunflowers using acrylics on canvas.

While learning about the genre in 2012, the focus was on creating authentic learning experiences for students. The teaching team of Teacher Glenda Giajnorio and Early Childhood Educator Judith Wilson engaged the young children in thinking, reading, writing, communicating, exploring, discovering, representing and problem-solving in an integrated fashion.

The results are outstanding!
